If you are a complete beginner - Shai always recommend working with a 1:1 teacher for at least 3-6  months to get the basics down.

No. Every song is taught by video with tabs and chord diagrams. You learn by watching, listening and playing.

Any acoustic/nylon strings guitar works. Most students play nylon-string (classical) guitars, which are the traditional sound of this repertoire and gentler on the fingers.
